Living
Laughing
Fucking
Loving
Carefree and wild
Retarded and strange
all in the pursuits of
simply enjoying their time
on a rollercoaster
that runs through both
The lake of fire
And the promised land
And the literal absence of both
leaves them scared
Alone and confused
And I know this
when I say
that we are like rabbits in our youth
